MiG-15s and B-29s can be found on display together throughout the world, such as this pair at the Pima Air Museum near Tucson, Arizona (Author)

A partial reason for the MiG’s amazing survivability was due to the use of armor-piercing slugs by F-86 units. A Sabre would get on the tail of a MiG and pour a load into it without apparent effect because the slugs were going all the way through.

Unlike the Sabre, which had excellent cockpit visibility, MiG pilots complained of bothersome reflections from the canopy and misting caused by water seeping between the glass layers and freezing at altitude.
